Sans doute compos&eacute;es et enregistr&eacute;es durant l&#39;&eacute;t&eacute;, ces deux partitions sont &eacute;lectroniques, mais &eacute;galement ethniques pour le film de <a href=\"http:\/\/jameshorner-filmmusic.com\/collaborations\/christopher-cain\">Christopher Cain<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t<span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">En effet apr&egrave;s <b>The Stone Boy<\/b> en 1984, James Horner retrouve ce r&eacute;alisateur pour <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/jameshorner-filmmusic.com\/discographie\/where-the-river-runs-black\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><b>Quand La Rivi&egrave;re Devient Noire <\/b>(<b>Where The River Runs Black<\/b>)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">, film relatant l&#39;histoire d&#39;un petit gar&ccedil;on qui vit seul au c&oelig;ur de la jungle amazonienne. Entr&eacute; &agrave; l&#39;orphelinat, il d&eacute;couvre que le g&eacute;n&eacute;reux bienfaiteur, favori aux &eacute;lections, est l&#39;assassin de sa m&egrave;re. Il n&#39;a alors plus qu&#39;une id&eacute;e : se venger. &Eacute;chec cuisant au box-office, le faible budget a amen&eacute; Horner &agrave; construire sa musique sur un ensemble limit&eacute; d&#39;instruments : synth&eacute;tiseurs s&#39;appuyant sur des effets vocaux &eacute;lectroniques, fl&ucirc;tes exotiques, percussions. Nous obtenons un score intimiste qui souligne le myst&egrave;re li&eacute; &agrave; l&#39;intrigue et la crainte de l&#39;enfant vis &agrave; vis de son avenir.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\tL&#39;album &eacute;tait &eacute;puis&eacute; depuis 20 ans.
