\n\t\tSans annonce préalable, et uniquement sur iTunes pour le moment<\/a>, Walt Disney Records nous gratifie de la première édition surprise de l’année 2019, avec les musiques de l’attraction Pandora – le Monde d’Avatar<\/strong>, ouverte au parc Walt Disney Wolrd Resort d’Orlando, en Floride.  En gestation depuis plusieurs années, cette sortie se révèle être une double surprise. Au-delà du matériau adapté de la partition du film Avatar<\/a><\/strong>, on découvre au sein de cette édition, uniquement digitale à ce jour, des compositions de Simon Franglen<\/a> (Magnificent Seven<\/a><\/strong>, La vérité sur l’affaire Harry Quebert<\/strong>) et surtout des pistes inédites composées par James Horner avant sa disparition. C’est l’orchestre national de Slovaquie qui officie sur l’enregistrement, le même qui interpréta Living in The Age of Airplanes<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tUne version instrumentale de la chanson du générique de fin du film, « I See You<\/em> », est incluse. S’agissant d’une bande originale d’attraction, des effets sonores sont inclus dans les trois premières pistes.  Le ton est ici léger, aimable et récréatif, ce qui pourra désarçonner bien qu’il permet de retrouver toute l’ambiance de l’univers imaginé par James Cameron. Dès la quatrième piste, les musiques ensuite présentées accompagnent les visiteurs du parc dans différents espaces, comme le restaurant ou la boutique. The Shaman Call<\/em> propose un chant tribal du plus bel effet dans lequel l’âme de Pandora résonne avec celle de l’Afrique, dans l’esprit de ce que James Horner nous avait proposé pour Mighty Joe Young. Le cœur de l’album recèle les plus belles pistes, telles l’énergique Magic of the Land<\/em> (une des pistes inédites de Horner), Spirits of Mo’ara<\/em> aux vertues méditatives, l’élégiaque Raggatar<\/em> ou encore la première occurrence de Surf’s up<\/em>. Shaman of the Souls<\/em> présente un thème de dix notes absolument superbe, exploité sur près de huit minutes. Les trois dernières pistes présentent des musiques arrangées dans un esprit de musique lounge.
\n\t\tAu moment où l’on s’interroge pour savoir qui succèdera à James Horner pour mettre en musique les suites d’Avatar<\/strong>, cette édition a le mérite de proposer une option tout à fait viable, en plus de présenter ce qui constitue probablement les derniers inédits du maestro.<\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
