Celine Dion (born March 30, 1968 in Quebec) is a Canadian singer.
In France, she became famous in 1983 with the title D'amour ou d'amitié.
Her first English album, Unison, was released in 1990, and it allowed her to be known in the United States and around the world.
In 2002, she signed a contract to produce four to five nights a week at Caesars Palace's ‘The Colosseum’ in Las Vegas.
She has sold over 200 million albums worldwide.
At the ceremony of the World Music Awards in 2007, she received the Legend Award, in recognition of her "global success and outstanding contribution to the music industry."
