Charlotte Church (born Charlotte Maria Reed on February 21, 1986 in Cardiff) is a soprano.

She signed a 12-year recording contract with Sony Classical. Her first album of sacred songs, The Voice of an Angel, sold millions of copies worldwide. Her next two albums were also recordings of classical music.

At the age of 15, she participated in the soundtrack of the film A Beautiful Mind by James Horner.

Since 2005, she has turned to a pop career, but sales are now much lower than those of her early career.

In summer 2006 she began working on her own TV show, The Charlotte Church Show, a mix of sketches, reality TV, interviews and music.
