Wilbur Jennings (born in 1944 in the Texas town of Kilgore) is an author, songwriter and performer.
He has written or co-written many contributions for artists such as BB King, Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Whitney Houston, Linda Ronstadt, Celine Dion and others.

He received an Academy Award and a Golden Globe in 1997 for the lyrics of the song My Heart Will Go On for James Cameron's Titanic.
