RETURN TO PANDORA

Ten Days after the Ghent Tribute Concert on October 27th, the Royal Albert Hall will journey to Pandora with Avatar: Live in Concert.

In the nine years since James Horner and conductor Ludwig Wicki began their journey to bring Horner’s film music to new audiences, Wicki has carried the baton forward and not only brought Titanic Live worldwide, but also continued on with Aliens Live in 2016 and a 2017 tribute concerttitled James Horner: A Life in Music with unique arrangements of classic scores and video appearances by filmmakers Ron Howard, Mel Gibson and of course Jim Cameron, who had this to say about the upcoming concert:

“I’m really looking forward to the upcoming production of Avatar: Live in Concert. To hear the powerful, emotional music performed live to picture will be a truly magical experience for audiences around the world, and such a celebration of the genius of James Horner.”

Avatar, the third and final collaboration between Horner and Cameron, is the culmination of that 9 year journey filling audiences with romance, grandeur, terror and adventure all under Wicki’s baton, and all made their debut performances at the Royal Albert Hall.
