The news has “leaked” via videos posted on social networks by Chinese-American cellist Tina Guo where we can see her rehearse and record two tracks “for a James Horner album for Sony Masterworks”
Both pieces are taken from Cocoon and Avatar.
We will have new information soon as soon as the album will be officially presented by Sony.

I’m a Pianist and Piano Teacher in the UK.
James Horner’s Music is a breath of fresh air. Today, I still miss him being in our lives with his music and love for helping others.
James always left a signature through the Music he composed. One would always know it was his music just like Hans Zimmer. A clever way of making sure the audience would not only feel the music but would also remember other films too.
I would hope that James left much more of his music for us to discover and if so I would vey much appreciate being informed as and when this will be released.
Presently, I know he will be composing for the Angels.
