The ticket sales for the concert gala of the Hollywood in Vienna Festival on October 4 will start next Monday 18. The Gala Concert includes the Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award ceremony, which will be awarded to James Horner. The program of this evening has also been revealed by the Hollywood in Vienna site.
After setting sail to the tune of Titanic, the secrets of the universe will be explored with Apollo 13, Star Trek and Avatar. Then the depths of the human psyche will be explored through the music to A Beautiful Mind, Legends of the Fall and Braveheart.
James Horner and David Newman will conduct the RSO Vienna.
