As we already announced last year, The Houston Symphony will perform the North American premiere of James Horner’s Collage on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 8:00 PM.
Two more performances are scheduled for Saturday, April 02, 2016 at 2:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
The Houston Symphony presents Horner's last completed concert work with renowned horn soloists including David Pyatt and Richard Watkins – who were present at the world premiere in London in March 2015 – and the Houston Symphony’s own soloists William VerMeulen and Robert Johnson.
The program will also include swashbuckling film music from the Golden Age of Hollywood and Rachmaninoff’s brilliant Symphonic Dances.

I would just like to wish all the musicians taking part in the Houston Collage Premiere this week all the very best. I would so love to be there, especially as it is now one year since the premiere wonderful evening in London..can’t wait for the CD to be released. Pamela.
