Mike Taylor of the music group, Incantation, recommended her for Patriot Games. In interpreting the traditional song, The Quiet Land Of Erin, for the film by Philip Noyce, she entered gracefully into the musical world of James Horner. His return two years later on Legends Of The Fall finally gave her the status of “Hornerienne” muse. Her ethereal voice was the perfect incarnation of the spirit of vengeance that inhabited these two films.
Rest in peace, Maggie.
